Beast King is a formidable lion-like monster known for his aggressive personality and deadly claw attacks.
He appeared in Episode 2 of the anime and chapter 8 in the second volume of the manga.
Beast King is the second strongest creature in the House of Evolution after Carnage Kabuto, both created by Dr. Genus.
Despite his intimidating presence, the Beast King is swiftly defeated by Saitama, showcasing their immense power gap.
Appearance
- Feline Humanoid: He has a humanoid form with distinct lion-like features. He possesses a muscular physique, a lion’s mane, and sharp claws, making him a visually striking and threatening figure.
- Sharp Teeth: Beast King’s teeth are extremely pointed and sharp, highly resembling the beastly nature of cats or lions.
- Chained Chest: He is adorned with heavy chains draped across the torso and shoulders and secured to the middle of his belt. These chains are a significant part of his costume and contribute to his intimidating appearance.
- Clothing: Underneath chains, Beast King wears a black shirt and fur coats covering his shoulders. His lower body is covered with a leopard-print loincloth that is held by a belt designed with a lion’s face.
- Weights: While his arms have armbands, his wrists and feet have weights.
Personality
- Arrogant: Beast King exhibits an arrogant demeanor. He mocks Saitama while the hero is trapped underground and confidently proclaims his strength. He enjoys instilling fear in his opponents.
- Ruthless: While attacking Saitama at full strength, he mercilessly slashes his allies, having no regard for their lives.
- Hot-Headed: After failing to hit Saitama with his attacks, Beast King decides to kill him despite his original mission of capturing the bald hero.
- Appreciative: He also acknowledges Ground Dragon’s efforts of trapping Saitama on the ground.
- Sense of Humor: Beast King even called Saitama, who’s body is stuck underground, in a “tight spot.”

- Superhuman Strength and Speed: Beast King demonstrates considerable strength and is able to destroy buildings with his claw attacks. He also moves with surprising speed, initially overwhelming Saitama with a flurry of blows.
- Sharp Claws: His primary weapons are his long, sharp claws. He utilizes them in devastating slashing attacks, capable of inflicting significant damage.
- Transformation: As one of Dr. Genus’ creations, Beast King possesses the ability to transform to draw out his raw power.
- Wind Slash: His sharp claws can reach and slice concrete buildings despite not hitting them due to his attacks creating extremely sharp wind slashes.

Battle
The battle between Saitama and Beast King is a brief but impactful encounter that highlights Saitama’s overwhelming strength and Beast King’s arrogance.
The fight occurs in Saitama’s city, near his destroyed apartment, as part of a larger attack to kidnap Saitama involving other monsters, such as the Armored Gorilla and Ground Dragon.
Beast King, confident in his abilities, attacks Saitama with his sharp claws. He uses “Lion Slash” and “Lion Slash: Meteor Power Shower”.
He initially manages to push Saitama back, destroying buildings with his attacks. However, Saitama effortlessly dodges every blow.
With a nonchalant face, Saitama eventually decides to end the fight. He unleashes his “Consecutive Normal Punches” attack, a rapid barrage of punches delivered with overwhelming force.
Beast King is completely obliterated and unrecognizable after that normal attack.
