Melzargard is a fearsome alien warrior and a central antagonist in the One Punch Man “Alien Conqueror Arc.”

As a high-ranking member of the Dark Matter Thieves led by Lord Boros, he plays a critical role in their invasion of City A, wreaking havoc with his extraordinary regenerative abilities and overwhelming combat skills.

He fought four S-Class heroes together on the surface.

Despite his near-immortality, the combined efforts of Bang, Atomic Samurai, Metal Bat, and Puri-Puri Prisoner expose his cores, systematically destroying them and ultimately leading to his death.

Appearance

  • Grotesque Look: Melzargard’s outward appearance is that of a humanoid, but his skin is malformed, and his body has protruding veins.
  • Monstrous: He is bigger than the heroes and can shape his body into anything, but usually into a hideous creature with sharp teeth.
  • Amorphous: He doesn’t have a definite form, as he can morph his body into anything he wants, including weapons like a hammer or a sharp saw.
  • Highly Mutable: Melzargard can transform into a creature with multiple heads, and each can think independently.

Personality

  • Arrogant and Sadistic: Melzargard often underestimates his opponents and takes pleasure in combat.
  • Loyalty: He serves under Lord Boros and follows orders, including targeting the Hero Association and aiding in the destruction of City A.
  • Cruel: He enjoys defeating other creatures they invaded and mutilating their bodies behind recognition.

  • Telepathic Communication: Melzargard can communicate telepathically with the alien spaceship to receive orders or coordinate attacks.
