Metal Knight Robots are remotely controlled machines piloted by Dr. Bofoi, who goes by the hero name Metal Knight, an S-Class hero.
These highly advanced units are designed for both combat and strategic operations, allowing him to engage in missions without personal risk.
There are many types of machines that he uses depending on the task at hand, but Dr. Bofoi’s favorite for combat is a large humanoid unit with thick armor and missiles as weapons.
Appearance and Functions
- Metal Knight Battle Robot: These robots are Dr. Bofoi’s main battle machines having a small round head and equipped with 7 huge cannons on their backs, missiles, massive boosters, and thick armor. These units directly fight enemies and are also used for surveillance, like investigating the Monster Association hideout or testing newly developed weapons, such as during the Giant Meteor scene.
- Scout Robot: This unit is humanoid and lean, with no visible weapons built on its body, and does not possess the ability to fly. It showed up in a capsule after defeating Lord Boros. Scout Robots are only sent to recon the enemy, gather intelligence, and send it to Dr. Bofoi using the antenna on their left heads.
- Salvage Robots: Dr. Bofoi’s Salvage Robots spring into action to gather the spaceship remains of Lord Boros. These machines have various forms, with some having wheels for ground operation and airborne units that can carry wrecks.
- Construction Robots: Construction Robots are specialized machines that can handle complex construction processes, from design to construction and even purchasing materials. They vary in size as well, ranging from giant four-legged machines to tiny spherical bots with heli blades on their heads, which enable them to fly. They also have retractable arms and can “chew” debris.
- Robot Army: An organized military machine of any form or size used for fighting, bombardment, and attack in a coordinated effort. Drive Knight imagined these units attacking the Hero Association’s base, thinking Dr. Bofoi’s machine systems could be hacked and used against them.
- Nuke-Fallout Disposal Units: A massive swarm of flying machines that responds when a nuclear blast is detected. These robots can dispose of nuclear fallouts and investigate their origin. They made a grand entrance by lighting up the sky after Garou’s defeat in Chapter 169.

Abilities, Power, and Skills
- Technological Expertise: Metal Knight has exceptional skills in developing and utilizing advanced technology. This is most clearly seen in his creation of powerful robots and sophisticated weaponry.
- Remote Control Mastery: He demonstrates the ability to remotely control his robots with precision and effectiveness, allowing him to engage in combat from a safe distance.
- Strategic Planning: As discussed in the previous response regarding his personality, Metal Knight exhibits strategic thinking, carefully assessing situations and planning his actions accordingly.
- Analytical Skills: Metal Knight displays analytical capabilities, particularly in assessing threats and evaluating the effectiveness of his technology.
- Immense Durability: While one of its Battle Robots was decimated and dismantled, Child Emperor revealed that Metal Knight’s armor is extremely tough to deal with.
- Flight: Most of Metal Knight’s machines can fly. His main Battle Robot has massive boosters that enable it to maneuver in the air.
- Nuclear Fallout Disposal: Metal Knight Drones can detoxify the environment that is contaminated with nuclear radiation. He uses this ability to clean up the remaining radiation after the fight against Garou.
- Salvage Expertise: No matter how large the debris is, Metal Knight can salvage it to be used as part of his research of new weapons and materials for his robots.
- Construction Expertise: Some of his robots are experts in handling construction, just like when he was able to build the new Hero Association base from the ground up within just 7 days.
- Underground Burrowing: Some of Metal Knight’s machines can travel underground, such as the one that showed up after Garou had been defeated. This robot probably followed Elder Centipede’s route after the Battle Robot transmitted its collected data.
Attacks Used
Metal Knight has no specific technique or attack that he used so far against the enemies.
He is mostly shown appearing after a major fight or testing his newly developed weapon systems against monsters and other threats.
Equipment and Weapons
- Missiles: A primary weapon utilized by Metal Knight Robot, launched from the robot’s cannons.
- Suction Pads: He sticks into Elder Centipede’s body, knowing that the monster will soon escape. This was also his method for infiltrating the Monster Association Base.

- Giant Meteor: Metal Knight’s Battle Robot attacks the meteor with missiles, but the attack proves ineffective. He already told Genos that this machine is disposable. Saitama ultimately destroys the meteor.
- Monster King Orochi: Child Emperor realized Orochi’s strength after seeing Metal Knight was utterly destroyed. One of its main bodies was also seen hanging in chains after Orochi destroyed it.

Elder Centipede: While Metal Knight battles Elder Centipede, the monster escapes after completing their mission.
