Chapter 72 – Monster Transformation

Gouketsu, a giant monster, approaches the martial artists in the arena, offering them a chance to become stronger by consuming monster cells.

He reveals his past as the original King of Super Fight, defeated and transformed into a monster by the Monster Association.

Shocked participants and spectators watch as Gouketsu effortlessly defeats Snek and Lightning Max.

Some martial artists, driven by fear or ambition, consume the monster cells. 

Rosie and Choze transform first, their bodies dramatically enhanced. Choze, remembering his defeat by Saitama, seeks revenge.

Benpatsu, Hamukichi, and Volten also transform, impressing Gouketsu with their newfound power.

The remaining participants watch in horror as their former competitors turn into monsters.

Suiryu’s Bold Move

Amidst the chaos, Suiryu confidently approaches a young lady, promising to drive away the monsters in exchange for a date.

He then shows his unyielding spirit despite the dire situation.

Chapter 72.5 – Monster Transformation 2

Suiryu faces the transformed martial artists, now monsters, who attack him on Gouketsu’s orders.

Suiryu effortlessly defeats Benpatsu, Hamukichi, and Volten, showcasing his superior skills.

His fight with Choze intensifies as they exchange powerful blows.

Suiryu ultimately breaks Choze’s horn and defeats him with his signature moves, Void Quake Tiger Fist and Void Rising Phoenix Fist.

Suiryu vs. Gouketsu

With Choze defeated, Suiryu turns his attention to Gouketsu.

Despite the giant monster’s offer to become stronger by consuming a monster cell, Suiryu rejects it and launches an attack with his Void Sky Dragon Fist.

However, Gouketsu’s overwhelming power sends Suiryu crashing to the ground, spitting blood, as the monster declares his intention to rule the world.

Chapter 73 – Resistance of the Strong

Suiryu lies defeated after Gouketsu’s hammer punch, but he quickly recovers and launches a counterattack.

Despite his relentless punches, Gouketsu remains unaffected and effortlessly blocks Suiryu’s Void Quake Tiger Fist.

Suiryu is thrown to the ground, severely injured, as Gouketsu taunts him to stand up and fight.

Bakuzan’s Transformation

As Suiryu struggles, Bakuzan watches nearby.

Realizing the hopeless situation, Bakuzan consumes multiple monster cells to transform and gain power.

However, he collapses, overwhelmed by the cells’ effects, leaving Suiryu cornered by Gouketsu and the monster crows.

Heroes to the Rescue

Just as Suiryu is about to be overwhelmed, Sneck and Lightning Max return, dressed in their hero suits.

They rescue Suiryu, deflecting the crows’ attacks and striking them down with a powerful counterattack.

Suiryu is touched and surprised by their heroic intervention, grateful for their support in his time of need.

Lightning Max and Snek protects Suiryu.

Chapter 73.5 – Resistance of the Strong 2

Suiryu, along with Lightning Max and Sneck, defeats the three monster crows.

Grateful for their help, Suiryu decides to escape while the two heroes hold off Gouketsu. However, as Suiryu runs, he encounters another monster blocking his path- Bakuzan, now transformed into a Disaster Level Dragon monster.

Bakuzan’s Attack

Bakuzan, standing before Suiryu, launches a series of powerful punches, sending Suiryu crashing to the ground.

Gouketsu watches, impressed by Bakuzan’s successful transformation and newfound strength.

Suiryu, already severely injured, struggles to stand as Bakuzan continues his relentless assault, showcasing his enhanced abilities.

Chapter 74 – Depths of Despair

Gyoro-Gyoro and Monster King Orochi observe the widespread chaos and fear they have caused across cities.

Their plan involves using weaker monsters as cannon fodder and monsterizing strong humans to bolster their forces.

Gouketsu is tasked with transforming martial artists, while Nyaan handles prisoners.

Gouketsu vs. Bakuzan

Gouketsu prepares to leave the stadium with Bakuzan, who has been transformed into a powerful monster.

Bakuzan, believing he is the strongest, attacks Gouketsu but is easily overpowered.

Gouketsu effortlessly dodges and blocks Bakuzan’s punches, ultimately creating a massive hole in the stadium with a single blow, leaving Bakuzan stunned.

Gouketsu’s Departure

Gouketsu explains that other monsters are heading to their base to avoid S-Class heroes.

He leaves Bakuzan behind and proceeds to the ruined part of Z-City, continuing the Monster Association’s sinister plan.

Gouketsu punches monster Bakuzan for being arrogant. Bakuzan dodges and sees how powerful Gouketsu is.

Chapter 74.5 – Depths of Despair 2

Suiryu, severely injured and desperate, pleads with Bakuzan to stop the torture.

Bakuzan, reveling in Suiryu’s despair, breaks his legs and demands he lick his foot.

Suiryu, in a desperate attempt to escape, breaks Bakuzan’s pinkie finger and crawls away, shouting for help from the heroes who are busy fighting monsters elsewhere.

Saitama’s Timely Intervention

As Suiryu’s cries for help go unanswered, Saitama suddenly appears, rescuing Sneck from Bakuzan’s stomp.

Saitama introduces himself as a hero and approaches Bakuzan, telling Suiryu to leave the rest to him.

Suiryu, surprised and relieved, watches as Saitama takes charge of the situation, ready to face Bakuzan.

Chapter 75 – Anomaly

Saitama stands unfazed before the monstrous Bakuzan, who launches a series of powerful attacks.

Despite Bakuzan’s relentless assault, including his Dark Hell Assassination Devil Cry Low Kick and Hell Dispatch Chop, Saitama remains unscathed.

With a single, effortless punch, Saitama obliterates Bakuzan, leaving Suiryu in awe of his incredible strength.

Suiryu’s Desperate Plea

Suiryu, lying injured, learns about Saitama’s hero background and his reasons for joining the tournament.

As Saitama prepares to face Gouketsu, Suiryu desperately tries to stop him, fearing for his life. 

However, Saitama proceeds, leading to a massive explosion in the city.

Suiryu watches in disbelief as Gouketsu’s severed head lands in front of him, realizing Saitama’s true power.

Aftermath and Suiryu’s Request

Saitama returns, asking Suiryu to keep his tournament alias a secret.

Suiryu, inspired by Saitama’s strength and humility, expresses his desire to become a hero and even asks to be Saitama’s disciple.

However, Saitama politely declines, leaving Suiryu to reflect on his own path forward.

Chapter 75.5

Heroes across various ranks battle monsters of different threat levels.

Angry Man, Smile Man, and Crying Man defeat a Disaster Level Demon monster, Macho Daikon.

However, a new threat emerges as Withered Sprout, a Disaster Level Wolf monster, appears and petrifies Angry Man with its freezing breath.

Saitama’s Intervention

Saitama arrives, slipping on the icy road but quickly breaking free from Withered Sprout’s freeze attack.

Despite the monster’s attempts to overwhelm him, Saitama effortlessly destroys Withered Sprout with a single punch.

Smile Man updates the Hero Association about the defeated monster’s true threat level.

Saitama and Genos Reunite

After the battle, Saitama finds Genos incinerating a pile of monsters.

The two heroes reunite, with Saitama casually roasting a sweet potato, showcasing his nonchalant attitude even amidst the ongoing monster threats.
