To begin with, this isn’t even a fight—it’s a one-sided annihilation! Both the Kurs and Reiko Kashima were caught off guard, but for entirely different reasons.
The alien forces had the first-mover advantage, raining down bombs and lasers while deploying troops to invade the city the moment they entered the atmosphere.
Yet, despite their overwhelming firepower and numbers, they were no match for Reiko’s raw power.
Reiko Kashima’s effortless domination of the alien forces cements her status as the strongest Yokai.

Plot Build-Up
The fight takes place after Momo, Okarun, and Mr. Shrimp successfully shut down the warp gate, preventing the Alien Forces from fully invading.
However, their victory is short-lived as a massive alien spaceship and its fleet appear in the sky, unleashing chaos on the city.
Buildings are destroyed, and alien troops swarm the streets. Amidst the chaos, Reiko Kashima, a vengeful Yokai with a grudge against Momo, arrives to settle her score.
But as she watched alien bombs rain down, something broke inside her.
The explosions, the screams, the acrid smoke – it all dragged her back to another war, a war where she lost her mother and suffered unimaginable pain.
The raw agony of that memory, still fresh after all these years, twisted her hatred into something new.
Her eyes, once fixed on Momo with murderous intent, now turned skyward.
The aliens had just made a terrible mistake – they’d given Reiko a new target for her rage.

Momo and Okarun attempt to fight back but are vastly outnumbered.
Phase 2: Reiko’s Entrance
Reiko Kashima appears, initially focused on punishing Momo.
However, the sight of the alien ships bombing the city triggers a traumatic memory from her past when she was still human, shifting her attention to the invaders.
Phase 3: The Mirror’s Wrath
Reiko raises her mirror, and all nearby mirrors citywide—even shattered ones—begin to reflect her face.
She launches a punch to her handheld mirror which summons a colossal hand within the city that obliterates the alien mothership in a single strike.

Reiko uses her mirror to trap the remaining alien forces, including their ships and troops.
She then proceeds to punch the mirror repeatedly, annihilating the aliens trapped inside.

Phase 5: The Aftermath
The alien threat is neutralized, and the city is saved—thanks to Reiko’s unintended heroism.
Momo and the others are left in awe of her power, with Momo declaring Reiko the most powerful Yokai, surpassing even Granny Seiko Ayase.
Analysis and Opinion
This fight truly established Reiko Kashima as an elite-tier character.
While the story reveals an ongoing battle between aliens and yokai, this particular scene demonstrates why the aliens, despite their advanced technology and superior numbers, cannot easily invade Earth.
It’s remarkable how Reiko Kashima effortlessly destroys one million invading Kur aliens with their powered suits and massive ships.
At this point in the series, I can’t think of any character who could defeat Reiko Kashima in combat – except perhaps Hyper Geezer “marrying” her, lol!
