One Punch Man Summary Volume 7 (Chapters 35 – 37.7)

Chapter 35 – The Fight

Tank-top Master launches the initial strike against the alien vessel, hurling a massive concrete block skyward.

The attack is quickly overshadowed when Tatsumaki enters the battlefield, her psychic powers sending multiple blocks hurtling toward the ship with devastating force.

Terror spreads among the alien forces as Tatsumaki’s assault intensifies.

Genos observes her overwhelming power with keen interest, while Drive Knight and Child Emperor, convinced of victory, choose to withdraw from the scene.

Silver Fang, Atomic Samurai, Metal Bat, and Puri-puri Prisoner vs. Melzargard

The battle takes a dramatic turn as Melzargard violently throws Silver Fang against a wall, alarming the watching S-Class heroes – Atomic Samurai, Metal Bat, IA-Ian, and Puri-Puri Prisoner.

The monster morphs its arm into a deadly saw blade, challenging Atomic Samurai.

However, Bang emerges unscathed, revealing his battle-ready physique.

Working in tandem, Bang and Atomic Samurai successfully overcome Melzargard.

Saitama vs. Lord Boros

Inside the spacecraft, an epic clash unfolds between Saitama and Lord Boros. Their battle escalates to the roof after Boros lands a powerful gut punch on Saitama.

Boros unleashes a catastrophic energy wave, causing an explosion visible to the heroes below.

As the smoke clears, Saitama stands with his characteristic bored expression- until Boros strikes from behind, finally prompting our hero to take things seriously.

Chapter 36 – The Power of Boros

The smoke clears to reveal a seemingly damaged Saitama facing a confident Lord Boros

Unfazed by Boros’s boasts about regenerative abilities, Saitama merely questions if his opponent is finished.

Boros undergoes a full-body transformation, unleashing devastating power.

His single punch creates a shockwave that tears through the alien ship and launches Saitama to an unexpected destination: the moon.

Lunar Counter-Attack

On the moon’s surface, Saitama briefly contemplates the reduced gravity while holding his breath.

His return leap to Earth proves catastrophic- the impact tilts the entire alien spacecraft, demonstrating the sheer force of his movement.

Saitama Versus Boros Full Power

Despite Saitama’s overwhelming power, Boros proves his resilience.

Even after being reduced to “minced meat,” his regenerative abilities allow him to recover and prepare his ultimate technique.

Boros unleashes the Planet Buster Roar Cannon, creating destructive lightning visible to all heroes below.

Saitama counters with “Super Moves Serious Series,” splitting both the energy attack and the clouds above.

Boros Acknowledges Defeat

As a result of their battle, the spaceship’s gravity core fails, marking Boros’s defeat as he acknowledges Saitama’s superior strength

As the spacecraft crumbles, Saitama walks away victorious, while the other heroes mistakenly credit Tatsumaki for their salvation.

The Earth’s first God-level threat ends not with celebration but with quiet acknowledgment between worthy opponents.

Chapter 37 – Crash

In the wake of an epic battle, smoke rises from the ruins of City A.

The alien spacecraft’s gravity sphere finally gives out with a thunderous crack, sending the massive vessel into its death spiral.

Heroes scatter like ants beneath the falling behemoth, their footsteps drowned out by the cascade of explosions marking the ship’s final moments.

Amidst the settling debris, Amai Mask makes his calculated entrance.

Amai Mask Mocks the Heroes

His pristine appearance stands in stark contrast to the destruction around him as he approaches Metal Bat for a situation report.

His reaction to the news is nothing short of disdainful. His mockery of the heroes’ efforts sparks silent fury among those present.

Metal Knight Salvages the Alien Ship

The arrival of Metal Knight adds another layer of tension to the scene.

His robotic form hovers over the wreckage, announcing his intentions to salvage the alien technology.

This late appearance draws immediate suspicion from Genos, whose mechanical features betray his distrust of the tardy hero.

Amai Mask Kills Surviving Aliens

The situation takes a darker turn when Superalloy Darkshine discovers surviving aliens in chains.

Without warning or hesitation, Amai Mask executes them all, justifying his actions with cold logic while other heroes watch in horror.

Genos observes silently, analyzing the mysterious past that drives such ruthless behavior.

A helicopter approaches the crashed spaceship that destroyed City A.

Tatsumaki Attacks Saitama

Saitama’s emergence from the wreckage coincides with an encounter involving Superalloy Darkshine and an irritated Tatsumaki.

The powerful esper’s frustration at being ignored manifests in a display of psychic aggression toward Genos, only to be defused by Bang’s timely intervention.

As the chaos of the day subsides, a symbol of hope rises above the destruction: the new Hero Association Headquarters stands proud, its network of roads connecting to every city like a web of protection.

This new beginning marks the end of a chapter filled with tension, destruction, and the complex dynamics between heroes tasked with protecting their world.

Chapter 37.5 – Big Construction

The story opens humorously with Saitama finding a rock in his boot, which he and Genos claim is from the moon.

They decide to sell it for a hefty sum, but Saitama loses the rock, leading to a futile, all-night search.

Elsewhere, the ruins of the old Hero Association headquarters become the focus.

During a heated directors’ meeting, one proposes a 10-year plan to clear the rubble, which sparks intense debate.

Panic erupts when an earthquake shakes the room—mistaken for an alien attack.

H.A. Rehab

A massive robot resembling an AT-AT Walker appears, spreading fear among the directors. Tank-top Master and other heroes rush to confront it.

Using sheer strength, Tank-top Master halts the robot’s foot, but smaller flying robots emerge, launching attacks.

However, these drones unexpectedly ignore the heroes and start consuming the rubble.

It’s revealed that the robots belong to Metal Knight, who plans to rebuild the city in record time.

In just seven days, the debris is cleared, roads are constructed, and the new Hero Association Headquarters rises, showcasing the efficiency of Metal Knight’s technology.

Chapter 37.6 – A Top Pupil’s Reminiscence

In One Punch Man Manga Chapter 37.6, readers are treated to a lighthearted glimpse into Charanko’s journey as Bang’s sole disciple.

The chapter opens with Charanko climbing the rugged stairs to Bang’s Dojo, reflecting on his unpleasant experiences with the strict training.

Frustrated, he resolves to quit. However, upon arriving, Charanko is surprised to find the Dojo unusually silent, with only Master Bang present, diligently cleaning the floor.

Bang reveals that all of his former students have abandoned their training, leaving Charanko as his last remaining pupil.

Seizing the opportunity, Bang encourages him to take training seriously, cementing his status as Bang’s top (and only) student.

Chapter 37.7 – Pork Cutlet Bowl

One Punch Man Manga Chapter 37.7 offers an intriguing hint about Saitama’s limits, as a police officer notices his hand bleeding after his battle with Lord Boros.

However, the main focus shifts to a thrilling encounter at the City Z police station.

The story begins with two police officers approaching Saitama, warning him of a growing threat.

They take him to the station for questioning, where he introduces himself as a hero. The officers remain skeptical, voicing distrust in the Hero Association.

Police Station Attacked

During the interrogation, chaos erupts as a delivery man transforms into a monstrous creature.

The monster, a former human arrested for drunk driving, effortlessly evades police attempts to subdue him.

Amid the escalating danger, the monster injures several officers with a powerful projectile attack.

While the police director contacts the Hero Association for assistance, Director McCoy hesitates, demanding the police plead for help.

Saitama, unimpressed, grabs the phone and volunteers to handle the situation himself—motivated by gratitude for a pork cutlet bowl.

Saitama Defeats the Monster

Saitama confronts the monster and defeats it instantly with a mock “finger gun” attack.

News reports later show someone in a police uniform carrying the subdued monster.

Though Saitama vanishes before receiving credit, the police director silently admires the mysterious hero who saved the day.
