Armored Gorilla is a powerful cyborg gorilla who serves as one of the elite fighters of the House of Evolution, a secretive organization dedicated to advancing human evolution through genetic experimentation.
Armored Gorilla is known for his stoic demeanor and battle skills, wearing heavy, advanced armor that grants him enhanced strength and durability in combat.
However, his initial menacing appearance might be deceiving after surrendering to Genos and Saitama, knowing he won’t win against them.
After Dr. Genus abandoned the House of Evolution, he now works at the House of Takoyaki, still owned by Dr. Genus.
Appearance
- Initial Form: Armored Gorilla first appears as a large, imposing robot with a strikingly intimidating presence. His significant armor plating and weaponry covering his entire body make him appear highly dangerous.
- True Form: After Genos attacks him with a powerful blast, Armored Gorilla sheds his armor, revealing a more slender gorilla inside the suit.
- Ape-like Human: After discarding the suit, he uses his original ape form as he works in the House of Takoyaki, and even when shopping for groceries.
Personality
- Potentially Aggressive: Armored Gorilla’s initial appearance and participation in the attack on Saitama suggest that he was intended to be a formidable opponent.
- Unexpectedly Friendly: However, his personality unexpectedly shifts after being defeated by Saitama and Genos. He drops his stern demeanor and admits he only tried to be cool.
- Peaceable: Armored Gorilla abstains from violence when he starts working in the takoyaki shop. Even when Zombieman pointed a gun at him, he didn’t react with fear or aggression.

Battle
Armored Gorilla was part of the squad sent by Dr. Genus to capture Saitama. However, Genos gets in his way to protect his new sensei.
Realizing that he won’t be able to attack Saitama, he decides to fight Genos head-on.
Armored Gorilla attacks first by sending a massive punch at Genos, but Genos easily blocks it.
He then stops Genos from aiding in the rescue of Saitama against Beast King, but Genos burns him.
After a massive explosion, Genos rushes for rescue, but Armored Gorilla blocks him.
They fight, and Genos comes out victorious even after he claims he is the third strongest in the House of Evolution, the strongest being Carnage Kabuto.
Thereafter, he also fought Marshall Gorilla who is a member of the Monster Association.

Victories
Armored Gorilla punches Marshall Gorilla in the face and defeats him.
He shows an extremely durable body that can break Marshall Gorilla’s knife attack called “Gorilla Style Knif Justu!! Banana Slash!!”
Defeats
Armored Gorilla was easily defeated by Genos in a one-on-one battle. Even with his full robotic armor, Genos beats him to surrender.
Abilities, Power, and Skills:
Armored Gorilla heavily relies on his armor, which shows extreme heat resistance even after Genos incinerates him.
His armor can also withstand falling impact.
But even without his armor, he still possesses extreme physical strength, as shown after he defeated Marshall Gorilla, a Tiger-level threat enemy.
Fate
After his defeat by Genos, Armored Gorilla starts working at a takoyaki shop alongside Mosquito Girl and Dr. Genus.
He merges with society pretty well and stops getting violent, even caring for Mosquito Girl’s insatiable desire for blood through syringe infusion.
He still remains quite powerful but chooses to keep his strength hidden, revealing it only when absolutely necessary.
