Bakuzan: The Sickest Monster?

Appearance

• Before Monsterification: Bakuzan has a large, imposing figure with a body that is muscular and heavily built. He has thick hair, thick sideburns, and a thick goatee. He wears a traditional martial arts attire during the tournament.
• After Monsterification: Bakuzan’s appearance undergoes a dramatic change after consuming the monster cells. He becomes significantly larger and more muscular. His face takes on a monstrous, grotesque visage, with sharp teeth and a hideous expression. He grows two extra arms, three tails, and horns on his elbows, shoulders, and head.

Personality

• Confident and Arrogant: Initially, Bakuzan comes across as supremely confident in his abilities. He even boasts about being able to handle any monster that might appear during the tournament. This confidence borders on arrogance, suggesting a strong desire to be recognized as the strongest.
• Envious and Insecure: The sources hint at a sense of envy or insecurity within Bakuzan, particularly regarding the popularity and skill of Suiryu. This suggests that his desire for power might stem from a need to prove himself and surpass others.
• Desperate for Power: The arrival of Gouketsu and the subsequent demonstration of his overwhelming power mark a turning point for Bakuzan. Witnessing true strength, surpassing anything he had previously encountered, triggers a desperate desire within him to obtain a similar level of power. This desperation leads him to consume the monster cells.
• Cruel and Sadistic: Bakuzan’s dark personality is enhanced during his monsterification. He displays a cruel and sadistic side, taking pleasure in tormenting the injured Suiryu. His dialogue is a warped sense of enjoyment in breaking down others who are weaker than him.

• Martial Arts Expertise: Bakuzan is a skilled martial artist specializing in the “Dark Hell Killing Jutsu” style. He is a capable fighter, initially considered a strong contender in the Super Fight tournament.
• Enhanced Physical Abilities (Post-Transformation): After consuming monster cells, Bakuzan’s physical abilities are significantly augmented. He gains immense strength, speed, and durability, exceeding the capabilities of even highly skilled martial artists like Suiryu.
• Brutal Fighting Style: As a monster, Bakuzan’s fighting style becomes more brutal and less reliant on technique. He relies on his raw strength to overwhelm opponents, resorting to punches, kicks, and stomps to inflict damage.
• Dark Hell Killing Jutsu: Nakuzan is an expert in this technique that focuses on destroying the part of the body where his attack lands.

Names of Attacks Used

• Devil Cry Low Kick: An attack on the leg that pulverizes the bone so his opponent can never stand again. He never used this one but demonstrated it to Saitama.
• Bear Killer Mid Kick: An attack on the arm that makes his opponent unable to hold a pencil again. He also demonstrates this at Saitama.
• Shura Straight Punch: A punch that blows the organs apart. Also demonstrates this to Saitama in his human form. He finally used this after his monsterification.
• Hell Dispatch Chop: Bakuzan’s attack that breaks the skull open. His last demo attack to Saitama before getting uppercut. He also used this against Saitama when he became a monster.
• Dark Hell Assassination Devil Cry Low Kick: A powerful kick that sends Saitama sliding across the arena floor.

Equipment and Weapons Used

Bakuzan does not use any weapons or equipment. He relies solely on his martial arts skills and, later, his enhanced monstrous abilities.

• Suiryu: Bakuzan views Suiryu as a rival due to his popularity and skill. After transforming into a monster, Bakuzan brutally defeats Suiryu, breaking his legs and tormenting him.
• Snek: Though the fight was never shown, Snek was defeated and unconscious on the floor together with Lightning Max.
• Lightning Max: Though the fight was never shown, Lightning Max was defeated and unconscious on the floor together with Snek for trying to let Suiryu escape.

Defeats

• Gouketsu: Bakuzan challenges Gouketsu in a brief but one-sided fight. Gouketsu easily overpowers Bakuzan, demonstrating the vast difference in their power levels.
• Saitama: Bakuzan’s final fight is against Saitama, who intervenes to protect Suiryu. Bakuzan underestimates Saitama and launches a flurry of devastating attacks. He is swiftly defeated with a single punch.

Disaster Level

Bakuzan became a Dragon-level threat after his monsterification.

After consuming multiple monster cells, Gouketsu sees him as a success and as having the same Disaster Level Dragon as him.

Fate

Bakuzan is ultimately killed by Saitama. After becoming a monster, he becomes consumed by his newfound power and sadistic tendencies. 

Saitama effortlessly defeats Bakuzan, destroying his body with a single punch, ending his brief reign of terror.
